Festival Package & Fees

Festival Package Fees is SGD499 per person |

Festival package INCLUDES:
a) Festival fees for participation in the entire duration of the festival, including all ceremonies.
b) Master Class
c) Usage of practice rooms (allocated by the organizers in accordance to number of categories the choir is participating)
d) Transport by VIP coach (45-seater) for Singapore Participants only.
e) Accommodation for 4 nights at First World Hotel, Genting Highlands, West Malaysia.
f) Meals:
i.Dinner only on 1st December 2008
ii.Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner provided on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th December 2008
iii.Breakfast only on 5th December 2008
Festival package EXCLUDES:
a) All tipping, personal expenses and travel insurance.
b) Registration fees for each extra competition categories. (Refer below)

Registration Fees (extra competition category)
For every additional category, registration fee is at SGD 120 per category registered. |

Closing Date
a) Closing date for registration is 10TH November 2008
b) The festival office reserves the right to reject applications for artistic or organisational reasons. Any fees paid will only be refunded should the group be rejected. |

Cancellation Charges and Refund

Registration fees are non-refundable.
For festival package fees: :
- If cancellation is made after 30th September 2008, 25% of the total cost will apply.
- If cancellation is made after 15th October 2008, 50% of the total cost will apply.
- If cancellation is made after 7th November 2008, there will be no refund.
Application Requirements

- ONLY completed application forms are accepted.
- Full name of the composers and/or arrangers of the pieces chosen are to be clearly indicated.
- A sound recording (CD or MD) of the participating choir. The recording should not be older than two years. (Please indicate the date of recording.)
- A brief biography of the choir.
- A brief biography of the choral director.
- A reproducible photo of the choir (in landscape format), not older than two years. Soft copy of the photo is preferred.
- Seven original scores of each competition piece. Original scores are especially required for published works. Deadline for submission of scores: 30th September 2008.
Label all recordings, photographs and other material with your choir's name. Incomplete or late submission will not be entertained. The festival office reserves the right to reject applications for artistic or organisational reasons. The registration fees will only be refunded should the choir be rejected.
In order to facilitate the preparation and planning of the festival, we kindly request you to send us your fully completed application form as soon as possible

Payment Details
Telegram Transfer (TT) - payer should indicate '2008IAF - name of choir' on the remittance advice for easy reference and tracking. TT bank details are:

Cheque Payment (if any) - should be addressed to: ' ACE 99 CULTURAL PTE LTD ', and indicate '2008IAF - name of choir' on the back of the cheque or on a cover note.
Payment date :
- Payment of 50% of festival package fees should be made by 15th September 2008
- Full payment of the festival package fees should be made by 31st October 2008.

Adjudication
All decisions of the jury are final. No appeals can be made against them. |
