Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of Orientale Concentus will be held on 18 th of July 2008. The opening event includes the assembly of all participating choirs, introducing the adjudicators and the official opening concert by choirs specially chosen by the festival artistic committee.  


Friendship Concert

Participating choirs may request to participate in the Friendship Concert. Performing choir shall present a 10 minute programme.  


Conductors' Forum

Choral directors and the choir managers/leaders may attend this forum chaired by the Festival Artistic Director with the panel of adjudicators. They will address and evaluate on the musical aspects of the competition, possible evaluation of competition results with each participating choir.


Award Presentation Ceremony

Awards and diplomas will be presented during the Award Presentation Ceremony.  


Grand Prix Award

All category winners will present their winning choral pieces to vie for the Grand Prix Award during the Grand Prix Award Presentation. A special trophy will be awarded to the winning choir.  


Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of the Orientale Concentus will take place on 22 nd of July 2008. Programme includes Prize Award Presentation and Performance by Category Winners. Presentation of Grand Prix Award, Outstanding Conductor Award and the Special Jury Awards.
