Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony of the 21st Century International Choral Competition will take place on 15th of December 2003 at Genting International Convention Centre in Malaysia. The opening event comprises of the parade of choirs, performance of the festival anthem by invited choirs, sounding of the festival Bell and the official opening concert by top choirs specially chosen by the festival office.

Evening Concerts
Specially invited internationally renowned choirs will present two evening concerts showcasing their unique culture and expertise.

Goodwill Concerts
Participating choirs can request to participate in these lunchtime concerts. Each choir shall present a 10 to 20 minutes programme.

Christmas Carolling
Singing of carols by choirs. Christmas carolling in the hotels, malls, convention centres and theme parks (both indoor and outdoor).

Master Class
Three to four choirs of different nationality will form a class for culture exchange programme. This specially tailored master class for choirs will be conducted by international adjudicators / clinicians.

Choral Workshops
Upon request, each choir can receive a special choral workshop with adjudicators / clinicians. Repertoire for the workshop is selected by the choral director and scores must be provided to workshop faculty members before the competition.

Keynote Lectures
The lectures will be held by choral directors of invited choirs to address on specific topics on choral art. Their singers will be the demonstration choir. This will be a great opportunity in both music learning and experience sharing.

Conductors' Forum
Choral directors and teachers will have the opportunity to attend this tour chaired by the Artistic Director. The speakers will be the adjudicators. They will address and evaluate on the musical aspects of the competition, possible evaluation of competition result with each participating choir.

Award Presentation Ceremony of the Winners
After the competition, the awards and diplomas will be presented in the course of a ceremony to take place in a festival atmosphere in the convention centre. The category winners will be honoured with an award presentation ceremony and the festival fanfare.

Grand Prize Concert
After the end of the competition and the presentation ceremony, the category winners will present their winning choral pieces to the other participants and visitors. The winner for the Grand Prize will then be chosen.

Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony of the 21st Century International Choral Competition will take place on the 18th of December 2003 at the Genting International Convention Centre. A festival choir consist of selected members of each participating choir will present the festival anthem conducted by the Artistic Director. The winners for Grand Prize, Conductor Prize and Special Jury Awards will also be announced.
