Rules & Regulations
All are welcome to participate, all registration forms to be submitted to the organizer before 12 March 2004, only properly completed forms will be accepted.

Panel of Judges
Judges from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia will adjudicate for all the competition, judges' decision is final, no further correspondence will be entertained.

Judging Criteria
1. Artistic expression
2. Technicality (intonation / rhythm / Tone Quality)
3. Overall Performance

Total performing time should be between 5 - 10 minutes.
Every 15 seconds of exceed, 5% of the total score shall be deducted.

Competition Categories

(A) Primary School Group
1. Total member in the group should be between 50 - 150 (current student)
2.    Free choice piece
3.    Total performing time should be between 5 - 10 minutes
4.    Conductor to be present
 
(B) Secondary School Group
1. Total member in the group should be between 50 - 150 (current student)
2. Free choice piece
3. Total performing time should be between 5 - 10 minutes
4. Conductor to be present
   
(C) Open Category Group
1. Total member in the group should be between 50 - 150 (no age limit)
2. Free choice piece
3. Total performing time should be between 5 - 10 minutes
4. Conductor not necessary to be present
 
(D) Ensemble Group
1. Total member in the group should be between 20 - 100 (no age limit)
2. Free choice piece
3. Total performing time should be between 5 - 10 minutes
4. Conductor not necessary to be present
 
(E) Traditional Music Group
1. Total member in the group should be between 5 - 50 (no age limit)
2. Free choice piece
3. Total performing time should be between 5 - 10 minutes
4. Conductor not necessary to be present
